Vaultwarden is an open-source implementation of Bitwarden and offers companies, teams and organisations a secure platform for the centralised management of passwords, login details and secrets. stepping stone operates a separate, dedicated instance for each customer on a highly available Kubernetes infrastructure in Switzerland.

The zero-knowledge principle ensures that only you have access to your data — not even stepping stone can view your content. Access is available across platforms via a web UI, browser extensions, CLI and mobile apps. Users and groups can optionally be synchronised automatically via LDAP. Login credentials can be shared for a limited period — both internally and with external partners. stepping stone handles hosting, updates, monitoring and maintenance — your data remains exclusively in your control.
