Problems don’t stick to office hours. stepping stone’s on-call service ensures that qualified specialists are available even outside regular working hours — round the clock, every day, if required.

In the event of an alert, stepping stone will respond within an hour and work towards a solution within defined response times. Whilst the issue is being resolved, you will receive hourly status updates and a final report once the problem has been resolved. Four priority levels govern availability and response times: from ‘best effort’ during working hours (Bronze) to 24/7 availability with a response time of four hours (Platinum). For the Platinum to Silver levels, stepping stone maintains a project wiki containing your central system documentation. The on-call service can be combined directly with monitoring — automatic alerts are then sent directly to the on-call team.

On-call service with defined response times

Four priority levels depending on business criticality:
- Platinum with 24/7 availability, response within one hour and intervention within four hours
- Gold during extended working hours with intervention within eight hours
- Silver during working hours with intervention within 16 hours
- Bronze during working hours on a best-effort basis.

Status reports and documentation

Hourly status reports whilst the issue is being resolved and a final report once the issue has been resolved. For the Platinum to Silver levels, stepping stone maintains a project wiki containing your central system documentation — ensuring that all relevant information is immediately available in the event of an emergency.
